1. We do not use analytics or tracking

Noer loads no analytics scripts, no advertising tags, and no third-party trackers. We do not send information about your browsing activity to third parties for analytics, advertising, or profiling, and we set no cookie for those purposes.

Because of that, we do not ask you to consent to cookies: everything below is either required to sign you in or a setting you chose yourself.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the service to work. Sign-in does not function without them, and they cannot be switched off from within the product.

• noer_app_session — your signed-in session on Noer. Encrypted, HttpOnly (page scripts cannot read it) and SameSite=Lax.
• noer_auth_txn — holds one sign-in attempt together while you are being redirected, storing in your browser the one-time values that tie the attempt to the response that comes back. Encrypted, HttpOnly, expires after ten minutes, and cleared as soon as sign-in finishes, whether it succeeded or not.
• Session cookies set by accounts.noer.tech while you sign in, on the same terms.

3. Preference storage

These remember a choice you made about how the interface looks. They contain no personal information and are never sent to a third party.

• sidebar_state — a cookie recording whether the dashboard sidebar is expanded or collapsed.
• theme — browser local storage recording your light or dark mode choice. It stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

4. Your control

You can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing the preference items above simply resets those settings to their defaults. Clearing or blocking the strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and prevent you signing back in.

5. Changes

If we add analytics or any other non-essential storage in future, we will update this page before doing so, and we will ask for your consent where the law requires it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information more broadly.
